The Ontario Philharmonic has a beautiful new home in the recently restored Regent Theatre, thanks to UOIT’s purchase and renovation of Oshawa’s Regent Theatre in 2009, part of the university’s expansion into the downtown core.
I enjoyed the Toronto Welsh Choir there back in the fall, the accoustics were tremendous. So I’m relishing the upcoming Ontario Philharmonic’s presentation of “Let’s Tango” on March 25.
What’s more, Durham Tourism, Durham Community Foundation and the Ontario Philharmonic are organizing a VIP Pre-Concert Reception to launch the Art of Transition Culture Fund, featuring fine wines, local art, and fabulous hors d’oeuvres.
