Lianne Snow doesn’t just recycle, she upcycles. “The difference is there there’s no energy infusion, no fuel used to melt the materials, just my personal energy,” explained artist Lianne Snow when I talked to her earlier this week. This lovely piece of jewelry is part of her one-woman upcycling art show that runs April 17 to 24. Saturday’s opening night fashion show features an evening gown made of aluminum pop tabs and cool stuff made from plastic water bottles. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the former library in Newcastle.
