As part of the so-called “sandwich generation”, one becomes very aware of the issue of accessability. Going for a walk with my 87 year old Mum or tiny twins isn’t always that easy. Lynde Shores has five kilometres of trails that loop around and are just the right length for little ones and are for the most part wheelchair and stroller friendly. Wildlife activity is usually rampant, especially over the next few weeks when this conservation area acts as an important stopover point for waterfowl and shorebirds migrating along the north shore of Lake Ontario.
